Health equity consulting
Assess where care and outcomes diverge, then design realistic, evidence-based paths to close the gaps for mothers, fathers, and babies.
Health equity · Systems change · Workplace trust
Dr. Sharla Smith helps hospitals, health networks, and organizations turn equity commitments into working systems: funded programs, trained teams, and cultures where people are seen and protected.

About
Dr. Sharla Smith is an Associate Professor in the Department of Population Health at the University of Kansas Medical Center and Director of the Kansas Birth Equity Network.
She facilitates multi-sector coalitions that redesign how maternal and child health care works, and she brings that same practice of building trust, aligning stakeholders, and designing training people actually use to organizations of every kind. Through Strategic & Successful Solutions, she partners with clients who want measurable change, not a one-time workshop.
